Mordi

Terms of service

Last updated 25 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Mordechai Arba (“Mordi”, “we”) for using Mordi, inside the Shopify admin or on our website. By installing or using Mordi you accept them for yourself and for the business you use it for. If you don't agree, please don't use Mordi.

What Mordi does

Mordi is an AI email marketer. It learns your store and brand, suggests and writes emails, sends the ones you approve, and shows you the results. Nothing is sent without your approval.

Your account

You must be allowed to act for the store you connect, and keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.

Your store's data, and permission to email your customers

  • You let Mordi read your store's data through Shopify and the tools you connect, and use it to provide Mordi to you, as described in our privacy policy.
  • You authorise Mordi to send marketing emails to your customers on your behalf and in your name, only the emails you approve, and only to people recorded in Shopify or your email tool as having agreed to receive them.
  • You confirm you have the right to give us this data and to email these people.

Emails and the law

You're the sender of your emails. You're responsible for following the laws that apply to them, such as anti-spam and privacy laws (for example CAN-SPAM, GDPR and CASL), for honest content, and for giving your real business name and address. Mordi helps: it emails only people who agreed, adds your address and an unsubscribe link to every email, and stops emailing anyone who unsubscribes.

AI-written content

Mordi's suggestions and drafts are written by AI and can contain mistakes. Read them before you approve. What you approve and send is your decision and your responsibility.

Price and billing

  • Mordi has a 7-day free trial, then costs $9.99 a month. The plan comes with 100 AI credits to try Mordi.
  • On top of the plan, you pay for what you use: extra AI credits, and emails Mordi sends for you ($0.54 per 1,000). Current prices are always shown in the app and on our listing.
  • For Shopify stores, every charge is billed through Shopify, which also handles taxes, invoices and payment.
  • You can cancel any time by removing Mordi from your store. Charges already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • We'll tell you in advance before raising prices.

Fair use

Don't use Mordi to send spam, email bought or rented lists, or people who didn't agree to hear from you; to send anything illegal, misleading, hateful or harmful; to break anyone's rights; to get around Mordi's limits or security; or to copy or resell Mordi. We may pause sending or your account to protect people, our service or our ability to deliver email.

Other services

Mordi works with services run by others, such as Shopify, your email tools and our AI provider. Their own terms apply to them, and we're not responsible for them.

Your content and ours

Your store's data, your brand and the emails you approve stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to provide Mordi to you; we never use them to train AI models. Mordi itself (the software, its design and the name) is ours.

Handling your customers' data

For your customers' personal data, we act on your behalf and on your instructions (as given by how you use Mordi). We keep it confidential; protect it; use only the service providers listed in our privacy policy, under similar duties; help you answer your customers' requests; tell you without undue delay if a breach affects it; and delete it when you remove Mordi, as described in our privacy policy.

Ending

You can stop at any time by removing Mordi from your store or asking us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Mordi; we'll give notice when we reasonably can. What happens to your data then is in our privacy policy.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep Mordi reliable, but it's provided “as is”. We don't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that emails will bring particular results.

Limits of liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, sales or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Mordi in the 12 months before the claim.

Your responsibility to us

If someone makes a claim against us because of emails you sent, content you provided or how you collected your customers' consent, you'll cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post changes here with a new date and tell you about important ones. If you keep using Mordi after a change, the new terms apply.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
